With northwest weather forecasted to be the worst storm of the decade, we decided to forego washing the Eagle and do a little housekeeping in the North American Eagle™ hangar. Team members that were together in the desert for over the week showed up to attend to the festivities.   Steve Wallace, Steve Rima, Les Holm, Trish Wood, John Drury, Sean Rondestvedt, Andrew Kirk, Keith Zanghi, Don Mitchell, Omar Chramosta and Ed Shadle were all ready to get dirty!  Von Armstrong showed up to get a little dusty.

Von deciding who is going to get dirty!

Alvord Dirt is very similar to Black Rock Dirt, El Mirage Dirt and Edwards AFB Dirt.  It is fine like talcum powder and no matter how much you wash, vacuum, wipe and clean, there always seems to be residual tell tale markings.  With the Eagle tentatively scheduled for next week to make an appearance at the hangar, this week’s work party was a good time to take care of our tools and equipment.
