Team NAE members reporting in this Saturday work session: Ed Shadle, Von Armstrong, Les Holm, Steve Rima, Andrew Kirk, Lars Pedersen, Jason Mitchell, Sean Rondestvedt, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Omar Chramosta, John Drury, Larry Martinson.
An early visitor this morning; Sean came by with an armful of Ethan, who gave Von a tentative high five and then took the tour with his dad. He’s used to big red fire engines since his dad is a Seattle firefighter; big red jet cars, not so much.
Von installed some recently repainted panels in preparation for next month’s appearance at SEMA in Las Vegas.
Andrew cleaned up about eight years of use on our front wheel dolly. We will paint it yellow to match the rest of our ground support equipment.
After installing the mid-wheels last week, including all 337 screws, we decided to take the assembly apart and measure the outer bearing surfaces. We were running about .0005 undersize, so new ones will be made this week and re-installed next week. Preventative maintenance never ends!
Keith began taping off the Eagle livery. In the next couple of weeks a brand new Eddie Harris design will be applied, making its debut at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
