Jessi Combs 2017 Sturgis Grand Marshall

Big news this coming week is Jessi Combs will be the Grand Marshall for the 2017 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  She is the first woman to ever be selected Grand Marshall and is turning out to be one of the best!  Check out her Facebook Page and watch some of the cool videos.

Andrew, Les, Jason, Cory and Ed test the start cart

We had a really good work party today. We finally have a working hydraulic system in the trailer. The control valve assembly was the ticket and now the carriage rolls in and out quite nicely.  We battled this complicated problem for a while now and everyone is happy this is behind us.

Les went through the air inlet assembly for the start cart and did some other cleanup; it now comes online and produces the proper voltage, and the air flow output is a steady 35 psi.
These are two of the issues which have plagued us for a while.  Now we can move on to the only other major item;  the alignment and syncing in the steering system. Once that is done, we’ll get down to small ticket items the project needs to make ready for an October run.
No work party on Saturday the 29th. Some of the team members will be at the Goodguys event in Puyallup.  We’ll be back at it on the 5th to work, and then off again the following weekend as some are headed for Bonneville.

NAE Team members Eric Whitler and Chris Greene were getting ready for Bonneville with a test and tune in the Nevada desert. The two-day session was a success and they are packing their bags for Bonneville.
