In this update: A new nest for the Eagle to live in.
Today’s Featured Sponsors
After eleven years in the Schenk family hangar, North American Eagle™ team is moving to a new headquarters. Marty and Suzie Schenk started out being our landloards and then became our friends. Both retired, the two were looking for a change and decided to sell the facility that had become home and backdrop to over eight television shows on Discovery, National Geographic Television, History and Science Channels. The friendship developed over the years is something that will last for the rest of our lives. Thank you Marty and Suzie!
On one of the warmest days of the year, a large contingent of NAE Team members stopped by the hangar to lend a hand in moving the Eagle’s Nest to our new location. Corey Dawson and his friend JP, Dave Selby, Eric Helpenstell, Libby and Steve Wallace, Steve Rima, Bernard McVay, Ed Shadle and his son -in- law Elliott, Brandyn Bayes, Doug Bayes, Lars Pederson, Jason Mitchell, John Drury, Les Holm and Keith Zanghi were on hand.
The team had two major goals this weekend; load the 56 foot Eagle into the trailer, and move the entire shop to our new headquarters. Either one of these tasks would have filled an entire work day. The crew broke up into two teams;one loading the car and the other loading up the 24 foot car trailer of Corey Dawson and Ed’s flatbed trailer. By the end of the day, the team looked like a bunch of new members at LA Fitness.
Lars Pederson, during the week, picked up a supply of boxes and teams went forward removing all the contents of our large white storage cabinets. The crew was amazing and if half the team wasn’t retired we could start our own moving company! By the the end of the day the hangar that has served us so well looked surprisingly quite large.
Wolfe Air in the News
This past week one of our long time sponsors, Wolfe Air, had a video that was going viral on the internet. The incredible footage was shot by Wolfe Air of the Boeing 787-9 practicing for the Farnborough Air Show. The aerial scenes were shot at Moses Lake, Washington.

New Lenovo Support
A new level of support from Lenovo is changing the landscape in our operations. In the very near future, the Landspeed.com website will be residing on servers on loan from Lenovo. A new ThinkServer will now be hosting all the content from the website, and provide storage for our engineering and intellectual property needs.
|Afterburner Docking Stations|
Lenovo is heavily embedded into our daily operations, with ThinkPads and ThinkStations providing support for website production, engineering consisting of mechanical and structural analysis and aerodynamic capabilities. Now we are pleased to announce the addition of new Lenovo ThinkServers to the North American Eagle™ team.

Mobile App Reminder: One of our primary focuses is to provide all of you with the latest information regarding the North American Eagle. In the Summer of 2012, we introduced our mobile apps, first for Android, followed by iOS. Since then, we have constantly been making improvements to the apps, adding new features such as Classroom Pages, while still providing a great user experience. We have taken great strides to try and ensure that our apps remain compatible with older versions of mobile operating systems, however this requires quite a bit of additional work for every update that we issue. We recently decided that this year, at the end of June, we will issue our final update for Android 3.2 and lower, as well as iOS 6.1 and lower. From that point on, any new updates issued will only be for Android 4.0 and above, and iOS 7 and above. (Please note that the mobile apps will continue to work on these older software versions, we will just be stopping our support of them). Our goal in making this change is to minimize the time in which it takes us to push new updates to all of you.
