Aerial Machine and Tool  was front and center at the GNRS

Back from the long road trip to Southern California, the North American Eagle is taking time out in the trailer for a couple of weeks.  This gave the team the opportunity to put the hangar in better order.  Equipment and tools were rearranged, materials sorted through, and a more efficient work space resulted.

End of a long day: Libby and Steve Wallace, Les Holm, John Drury, Ed Shadle, Von Armstrong, Rich Pengelley and Keith Zanghi

Our big red jet car was on prominent display at the GNRS in Pomona, CA.  Thousands of visitors passed by and hundreds stopped to talk to team members and learn about our progress toward setting some world record speed runs.

A number of custom car celebrities were at the show. A couple of the best coach builders at the show were Marcel and Luc De Lay from Marcel’s Custom Metal Shaping. This year’s Barris deElegance was won by heavy metal rock band member James Hatfield.  The one of a kind all aluminum custom body was built by Luc and his dad Marcel.  It was a real pleasure having them stop by!

Now you know why we bring Parachute Specialist Chris Greene with us.

This week’s work party invovled a lot of clean up.  With the Eagle sitting in the trailer at Walthrath trucking, this was the first oppurtunity to do a wall to wall clean  up of the hangar.
