Ladies and Gentlemen:
In this update: Webmaster Jon Higley hosted a website work session at his Northeast Tacoma home today.
Present were Jon, Brandon Bayes, Von Armstrong, and Ed Shadle. Patricia Wood who manages the Gear Page and Rachel Shadle who helps with updates and photos were not able to attend.
Update protocols were established for webpage administrators, coffee, chips and dips consumed, “Jolie,” the Higley family dog, kissed driver Ed, and a good time was had by all. Our thanks to Tonja and Jon for opening their house.
Our new website is a work in progress and, as we go along, we are constantly looking for ways to streamline both the content and the processes we use. The intent is to publish a webpage that is timely, user friendly, informative, and appealing to the viewers. Every day we work with our Lenovo C & D Series ThinkStations and Lenovo W Series ThinkPad computers to update and manage the website. Today we looked at the entire value stream of the website production process. The work session ended with a flow chart protocol developed for page publication. In the very near future you will be able to follow the project even closer through Twitter and enhanced Facebook tools.
