During the week Team NAE hosted a top notch video production crew for a second day of shooting at our Parkland headquarters. Capturing the Eagle and telling its story takes a lot of setting up, lighting, and technical camera expertise. The crew did a great job of doing just that. Last week saw a number of team member interviews and interior camera work. On Friday, a follow up session took up the entire day and into the early evening. Steve Green, Darren Grove, Steve Wallace and Chris Greene showed up for the shoot. The day’s highlight was the visit by Jessi Combs, co-driver of the Eagle. She was interviewed and also received some good news resulting from a recent second look at her Alvord desert runs during our last test session. Data analysis on our upgraded computer system proved out that her 2-way average of test runs was bumped up, and officially sits at 406.038 mph.
Joe Wittig, long time friend of the team and hydraulic expert, came by to take a look at our remaining trailer carriage woes. Lars and Ed discussed the problem and continued work on the system.

The day was spent swapping the rear running axle out for the traveling axle and packing up the rear fairing components. The nose cone was removed and was loaded into the trailer, along with the running axle and other heavy equipment. It takes a lot of time and effort to do all the packing up and loading up necessary for a road trip.
