NAE™ Project:
Vernuk Pan - South Africa

vernuk pan

This rather remote venue is roughly 35 miles long by 7 miles wide and was used by Sir Malcom Campbell in an unsuccessful LSR attempt in 1929.

This venue would only be considered seriously by the NAE™ team if certain circumstances occurred, as with other venues outside the United States.

When this page was first added, there was a working site that had more details of this location. Apparently, like many sites today, it has ceased to function, so the link has been removed.

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
