NAE™ Project:
Update Archives

October 2, 1996

Ladies & Gentlemen:

A message from Ed Shadle, Co-Director of Operations

The North American Eagle™ (NAE) has conducted low speed test during the past year at speeds exceeding 250 mph. The vehicle handled beautifully but our runout room was a little short so we then tested its capabilities as a off road vehicle. All turned out well with a few minor repairs.

We have been invited by the Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB, Ca. to conduct static display of the NAE on October 19-20 during their annual airshow. In conjunction with that show we are also invited to conduct discrete testing on one of the runways during the weekend following the airshow. At Edwards we don't expect to run out of runway so quickly.

The NAE™ is scheduled to be at the Montreal Auto Sports Show in Montreal, Canada on November 8.9,10. We are also expected to be at the Meadowlands, New Jersey in January and Toronto, Canada in February.

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
