NAE™ Project: Update October 18, 2008 Ladies & Gentlemen: This evening, Russell Garlow and Jon Higley presented at the October Civil Air Patrol Washington Training Academy (WTA). The event is a monthly training school designed to keep cadets up to speed on training for emergency services, search and rescue, aerospace education, and leadership skills. Cadets in attendance were enthused about what we had to tell them as they watch videos and asked a slew of great questions. They were also allowed to use the demonstration magnet and aluminum slab to understand how the magnetic braking concept works on the NAE™. One high school cadet was so excited, she intends to contact us for presenting to her school soon. If you're interested in having a presentation at your school, we invite you to contact us to schedule one. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
