NAE™ Project: Update October 16, 2007 Ladies & Gentlemen: Team North American Eagle™ is happy to announce a partnership with WRS Cover-All. With headquarters in Ferndale Washington WRS Cover-All provides the team with a 32 x 65 foot shelter that holds up in the harsh environments of the Black Rock Desert. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs has shelter as number 2 on our basic needs, but when it comes to the operating in the Black Rock Desert with 30 knot winds and sand storms, it is obvious Maslow never tried to break the world land speed record! At test session number 7, we tested the WRS Cover-All Shelter and found it to be a life saver. Not only does it provide shelter from the raging winds, but protects the crew during the 110 + degree weather. In addition, it offers the security of indoors, with the ability to assemble in the field. The shelter completely breaks down into manageable pieces. Our team had the structure up in about 4 hours. The team was able to work late into the night as the lights hanging from the ceiling seem to be enhanced by the heavy duty white vinyl covering.
Team North American Eagle™ is proud to be associated with a fine company like WRS Cover-All who not only provides a quality product, but world class customer support. The WRS Cover-All Shelter is an integral part of our goal to break the 763 mph world land speed record. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
