NAE™ Project:
Update Archive

November 8, 1996

Ladies & Gentlemen:

This Saturday engine tests will take place at Spanaway Airport. If things go well, some acceleration and brake tests will take place also. NW Cable News will be on hand to record the event.

Monday, November 11th, Ed Shadle and Keith Zanghi will be flying to California to meet with the safety team at Edwards Air Force Base. In light of the recent Craig Breedlove mishap, Air Force officials are having some concerns. The team will be presenting a comprehensive process on how the Land Speed Record attempt will proceed.

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
