NAE™ Project: Update The Thanksgiving Holiday Southern Tour is Dedicated to Ed Drumheller II Team North American Eagle™ would like to thank the following companies for sponsoring our Aerospace Testing Expo 2006, El Mirage Test Session # 5 and The John Force Holiday Auto Show appearance: LEV-X®, PCB Piezotronics, Inc, McVay Mobile Welding, Seattle BioDiesel, Small & Sons Petroleum, Eagle Machine, Inc., and ITR North America. November 20, 2006 Ladies & Gentlemen: For three days the 56 foot long, 52,000 hp North American Eagle™ was on display at Aerospace Testing Expo 2006. Located in the Anaheim Convention Center in the shadow of Disneyland, Aerospace Testing Expo 2006 is the largest show of it’s kind in North America. The team occupied one of the largest displays in the center, directly adjacent to the massive PCB Piezotronics Exhibit. The team can’t say enough about our sponsor and partner PCB. The entire show went smooth thanks to the effort of Molly Bakewell, PR person for PCB. John Lally, the President of PCB, flew in from the company headquarters in Buffalo, New York, just to see the team. His brother Mike was present all three days and we had a real great time hanging out with their entire staff. On Tuesday, PCB hosted a wonderful private reception for their customers to meet the Team. Everyone had a great time with the open bar and Buffalo wings flown in directly from Buffalo. Team North American Eagle™ was treated to dinner and refreshments every night by our host, PCB Piezotronics. Their team is first class and we are proud to be a part of their family. We also would like to thank Ben Drew, the show promoter. Ben dropped by several times and set aside time in the program for Ed Shadle, Steve Wallace and Keith Zanghi to give a short 20 minute presentation on the project. Two other NAE Sponsors had booths at the show. Space Age Control of Palmdale, CA were on hand with Tom and Joyce Anderson. Tom and Joyce stopped by several times and the team was touched by their hospitality. The Eagle uses many of Space Age Controls products to monitor the attitude of the vehicle. Also in attendance at this years show was a large display of Olympus Industrial Products. Carlo, Laura, Kathleen, James, David and Ted all the way from Japan are really excited about the project and have offered help with NDT Eddy Current Testing, Borescopes and of course i-SPEED HG high speed video camera. The show will always be one of the best decisions the team ever made in the project. Ed and Keith are preparing “New Sponsor Announcements” that we will be releasing in the next few weeks. For eight years the team has been working diligently to bring the World Landspeed Record back to North America, and magically “overnight” in the past three days, the bug has been caught by some of this world's largest aerospace manufactures who want to be onboard our project. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
