Bill worked on adjusting the steering system on the car today, while the rest of the team transferred nuts & bolts in their holders to the new shelf unit. Keith did some welding for Bill.

While the main body of the work party kept busy at the hangar, up in Canada Steve Green at Eagle Machine is feverishly working on the modifications to the front suspension and steering components. The system has worked for speeds up to 350 MPH but now that we are looking toward test runs exceeding 350. New components are replacing the lower speed ones. Dave Gregory, owner of Epic Hydraulics is also involved with component modifications on the front suspension.

New parachute riser lines are being built for us at Puget Sound Rope. They will be capable of sustaining the huge shock loads of the high speed parachute openings at speeds exceeding 800 mph.

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
