NAE™ Project: Update May 15, 2007 Ladies and Gentlemen: Team North American Eagle™ is pleased to announce a new partner on the project. Opto 22 manufactures hardware and software products that link all kinds of electrical, mechanical, and electronic devices and machines to networks and computers. Opto 22 supplies us with the input and output modules necessary for us to interface our pitch-damper/attitude controller and the linear motors and LVDT's controlling each canard.
Currently, there are more than 85 million Opto 22-connected devices deployed worldwide. Opto 22 is privately held, and its hardware products are widely recognized and highly regarded in the automation industry for their innovation, quality, and reliability. These products are manufactured at the company’s 160,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, adjacent to its corporate headquarters in Temecula, California. This factory ships more than half a million products per month, and each is individually tested prior to shipping. These superior quality assurance standards make Opto 22 confident in guaranteeing all of its optically isolated solid-state relays and most I/O modules for life. With unmatched reliability, innovation, and quality as its benchmarks, Team North American Eagle™ is pleased to have Opto 22 onboard in our quest to bring the world land speed record back to North America. For more information, contact Opto 22 headquarters at 800-321-6786 or visit the website at www.opto22.com. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
