NAE™ Project:
Update

May 12, 2007

Ladies & Gentlemen:

Today's work party saw Ed Shadle, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Bill Eckberg, John Drury, and Omar Chramosta present to continue tasks which needed work. Three tasks were worked on by the guys present; tie down brackets, boxing up an engine trailer part, and designing a mechanism for the new hydraulic steering valve linkage.

Box packed

Keith and Jon went to pick up a wooden box to bring back to the hangar and put the part from an engine trailer into for shipping to Florida. There, it will be used by the Starfighter, Inc. guys for getting engines transported to S&S Turbine Services for maintenance servicing.

Cutting L-brackets
Grinding

Meanwhile, John took the L-bracket piece Ed had marked up and cut the pieces off with a torch. He then took a grinder to each piece and smoothed off the rough edges. These will be used in the trailer to better tie down the NAE™ in transport inside the trailer.
