NAE™ Project: Update March 8, 2008 Ladies & Gentlemen: Team North American Eagle™ is happy to announce a partnership with Paratech Incorporated. Paratech manufactures an ever-increasing number of emergency service products, with special emphasis in tools for technical rescue. Paratech products include Maxiforce Air Lifting Bags, Rescue Support Systems, Forcible Entry Tools and Pneumatic Impact Tools. The above photo on the right shows Steve Wallace using the Paratech Rescue Bag to lift the Eagle. We use the Paratech Rescue Bag to lift the car so we can load the front wheel on the McVay Mobilizer. During our test session at Black Rock our ramps and jacks would sink into the soft desert playa. Now with the use of the low pressure air bags we can easily lift the 14,000 lb, 56 foot long Eagle in a manner of minutes. In 1997, the ThrustSSC Team missed gaining the record because they overshot the 60 minute rule between runs by one minute. Using the efficient and speedy Paratech Rescue bag, we will be able to turn the car around for the return run in the opposite direction with time to spare. Another benefit of Paratech Rescue Bags is its inherent use as a safety tool in the event we need to raise a load quickly. The system is so powerful we can lift the entire Race Car Transporter should the need arise. Paratech builds complete systems and produces fully integrated Special Mission Tender. You can read about the amazing rescues and awards using Paratech products here. Team North American Eagle™ firefighters Sean Rondestvedt, Rob Martinson, Mark Seguin and Von Armstrong are happy to have Paratech as a sponsor for rescue bags, and the rest of the team is grateful for the ease in loading to our mobilizer. Companies like Paratech will celebrate with us when the 763 mph world land speed record for automobiles is broken. Paratech manufactures an ever-increasing number of emergency service products, with special emphasis in tools for technical rescue.
