NAE™ Project: Update June 30, 2007 Ladies & Gentlemen: Present today: Ed Shadle, Von Armstrong, Rich Pengelly, Sean Rondestvedt, Rob Martinson, Russ Garlow, Bill Eckberg, Mike Thoe, Omar Chramosta, Tim Finley and Wonder Dog Meeko, and John Winchester. Work continued in rearranging the hangar and moving stuff around and out. Bill, Rich and Russ worked on the front steering assembly. Mike was into engineering calculations. Tim installed more data acquisition components and instrumentations. John Winchester was busy planning the parachute braking systems. And... there was the usual milling about and good natured verbal sparring among team members. Who has more fun? Eric Helpenskell, former firefighter and president of Praetorian Services visited the hanger today. His firm contracts firefighting services to the Bureau of Land Management and to the Northwestern states, providing fire suppression equipment and personnel. Eric is experienced in the fire services, marine engineering and is an all around adventursome guy who is very interested in the North American Eagle project, having visited our webpage. He has generously offered a variety of needed fire suppresion equipment and support and intends to be a frequent member of our Saturday work parties. Glad to see ya, Eric. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
