NAE™ Project: Update Archive June 20, 2002 Ladies & Gentlemen: The next step of the paint process has begun. Students at Bates Technical College's south campus have applied the primer coats to the bare aluminium skin of the NAE. It seems odd to see "the beast" in an other color other than aluminium after several years. I'm sure it will be even more odd to see it in viper red with the eagle logo on the side in its finished glory.
