Today, Team NAE™ consisting of Ed & Elaine Shadle, Cam & Rachel Shadle with their son, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Bill Eckberg, Steve & Libby Wallace, John Drury, and Steve Green from Canada, were VIP guests in the pit of Kenny Bernstein's Monster Energy Drink team at Pacific Raceway's NHRA Northwest Nationals.

The team was honored to meet Kenny and his wife, Sheryl, watch the pit crew start up the top fuel engine in preparation for qualifying runs today, and relax in the VIP tent with other guests.

After watching the first round of qualification runs, the weather turned wet and the qualifying runs were put on hold for several hours. However, after it was determined that the weather forecast was for continued drizzle, the meet was cancelled for the remainder of the weekend.

The team will be conducting a work party tomorrow at the hangar to work with the newly constructed front steering box brought down to Spanaway, WA from Abbotsford, BC by Steve Green of Eagle Machine, our machine shop sponsor.
