NAE™ Project: Update Announcement: C.S.M. Sponsors NAE™ Project January 3, 2007 Ladies and Gentlemen:
Team North American Eagle™ is pleased to announce that CSM Software will be providing Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) services to the project. CFD is analysis software that simulates in the computer the aerodynamics of the vehicle. It is used by every aerospace and automotive company in the world. These services will provide the team with accurate design data that can be transferred to wind tunnel models to further verify the aerodynamic qualities of the Eagle. Information on Transonic Shock Waves in a Ground Plane is virtually non-existent and Team NAE along with CSM Software will be breaking new ground. CSM was founded in 1992 by Dr.R Swami Narayanaswami, one of the first researchers at NASA working on NASTRAN (NASA Structural Analysis program) code. Dr.Narayanaswami is an internationally recognized researcher, developer and educator in the field of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). CSM’s primary objective is to provide advanced engineering software and services to global aerospace, automotive and other engineering industries. CSM has developed proven methodologies based on experience gained, while executing several projects for international organizations. CSM is headquartered in Bangalore, the IT capital of India, with branch offices in major Indian cities, as well as in Frankfurt, Germany. CSM has an associate company in US – CSM has offices in strategic locations across the world for catering to their global customers. CSM will be working with our other partners Dassault Systemes, INCAT®, FARO Technologies and Verisurf Software whose products acquire and turn the 56 foot long Eagle into digital data in the computer with wireframe and solid modeling design analysis. Team North American Eagle™ is proud to be associated with CSM Software, as we move closer to bringing the World Landspeed Record back to North America. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
