Our hydraulics sponsor Pres. Johann  Sigurjonsson, of Rapp Hydema U.S., Inc., was on hand to discuss the modifications to the onboard system with Ed Shadle, Bill Eckberg and Bernard McVay.

The NAE™ Project is proud to announce the participation of Ryan Mower, a 17 year old senior from nearby Sumner High School, who will be working with the team as part of his graduation project for this spring. He will be helping out and looking at how the project's process of volunteerism, innovation, and entrepraneur-ship has developed as one of the more rare occurences of "Americana" in our modern age.

Ed Drumheller II gave Ed Shadle an explanation of how the newly donated ejection seat from BF Goodrich works. Ed poured over the spec book on the seat as well. Meanwhile, Sean R. began pulling the current set up for oxygen supply after it was discussed and agreed a change in its location was needed. Willie and friend Don reworked the repaired winch once again after it was discovered the lock/release mechanism wasn't functioning properly.

Patricia returned with the team's two computers today after working them over to maximize their assets and get them into useable condition for the team's use within the hangar. Included as part of the upgrades performed was the addition of a bigger monitor and video card/driver. Now the team will be able to store and utilize important data for the project.
