We are happy to announce Interstate Wood Products of Kelso, WA as an official sponsor of the North American Eagle™ world landspeed record challenger.  Interstate Wood Products will provide preventative maintenance on the team's LevX® Volvo Tractor used for pulling the race car transporter.

Interstate Wood Products is also the primary sponsor of the Joint Venture Racing Team 1997 Freightliner M/DT (Modified Diesel Truck) Bonneville Salt Flat Racer.  This 268” wheelbase, 1472 cubic inch 16V92 Detroit Diesel has powered the truck to speeds of 225.678 MPH.  Don and Dale Lemmons and Ray Heitz are the owners and they have been racing these large trucks since 1990. They are real crowd pleaser and the fans at Speedweek always come to the line when the Joint Venture Racing Freightliner makes a run.
