NAE™ Project:
Update

February 3, 2007

Ladies & Gentlemen:

Present at today's work party were Ed Shadle, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Bill Eckberg, Sean Rondestvedt, John Zambrano, Dave Selby, Von Armstrong, Rich Pengelley, Tim Finley and Meeko, as well as our newest team member, John Winchester, who's stepped in to replace Ed Drumheller II after his passing last November.

Jon Higley went over to Caveman Coffee in Spanaway to take a few pictures of one of our newest sponsor's outlets. The owner of Caveman Coffee recently donated a school bus to the project for the team to use for traveling together to and from testing and record setting events. While there, Jon took a shot of Sheri; the barrista on duty that morning.

Visiting the hangar for a tour around the hangar today was the Chevelle & El Camino Car Club of Puget Sound. Ed and Keith explained the basics about the project and the car's various systems. They showed the group around the shop and told a few good jokes to keep things light and fun.

Bill Eckberg, Rich Pengelley, John Zambrano and Dave Selby worked on refitting some of the hydraulics lines, while Tim Finley did some work on the electrical system.

Keith Zanghi and Sean Rondestvedt went over to the airport where the team's bus is currently parked to work on the fuel line, but found that they didn't have the correct tools with them to do the job. So, the fuel line will be tackled another day.
