NAE™ Project:
Update Archives

February 15, 2005

Ladies & Gentlemen:

As you read this Bernard McVay, of McVay’s Mobile Welding in Brier, WA, is headed through the British Columbia country side as he drives south for home.  On Sunday a film crew out of Vancouver,  BC,  flew North to Fort St John and filmed the test runs at S&S Turbine Services test cell.  The video will be used on the upcoming Discovery Canada series about the North American Eagle™ called Ultimate Engineering.  Produced by Barna-Alper Productions in Toronto, Dugald Maudsley (Infield Fly Productions) is the shows director.

Also on Sunday, reporters from the local TV and Newspapers showed up at the S&S Turbine Services Test Cell.  The results were a front page photo and article in the Fort St. John’s newspapers.

Bonneville Racing got some exposure Monday as viewers tuning into the popular Discovery Channel show Monster Garage saw the Jesse James Gang build a Bonneville Belly Tank Lakester.

With just a couple exceptions, the team was made up of Longtime Bonneville Racers who managed to finish the car in just the nick of time, and later doing test runs at Vandenberg AF Base.  It was a great show about a great sport.

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
