NAE™ Project: Update Archives
August 22, 2002
Ladies & Gentlemen:
The North American Eagle™ team has been working really hard on the NAE™ getting it ready for the Western Washington State Fair.
-
Hydraulics Northwest has the front suspension nearly completed and ready to be picked up in a day or two.
-
Ed's been working on the rear strut arms and will be hauling them up to Canada next week for finish work by Steve Green and his company Eagle Machining in Abbottsford.
-
Today Eddie Harris, our premier air brush artist, finished putting detail art work on Russ Garlow's eagle design on the side fo the NAE.
-
Bob Davidson, the pinstriper, cleaned up some ragged edges from the masking job and Ray (nln) from Race Wax stopped by to survey the project and give some instructions on preparing to clear coat the entire vehicle with about 5 coats of clear before Race Wax polishes the whole vehicle.
-
John Drury and Jon Higley worked most of the day in the cockpit putting panels in place.
-
Keith has been working on the story boards for the display at the fair.
One thing for sure, the North American Eagle looks real cool with its new coat of paint.....Ed
