TeamNAE™: Meet John Winchester- Parachute Specialist John Winchester was born in Mathis, Texas, in 1939. After graduating from high school, John joined the Army in 1956. He went through jump school training in 1957 and eventually became a parachute rigger the following year. John made a career of the Army; retiring in 1979 at Fort Lewis, WA. He then went to work as a civilian parachute rigger in his own shop in 1980 and retired for good from this work in 1994. John was a friend of Ed Drumheller II and has graciously stepped in to fill some "big shoes" on the team. The rest of the team is pleased to have him join us for an unique adventure of a lifetime. Hang on, because it's about to get interesting. Contact: John Winchester We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
