Signing in for this Saturday work party: Lars Pedersen; Steve Rima; Von Armstrong; Britney Freer; Keith Zanghi; Les Holm; Ed Shadle; Jason Mitchell; Sam Yellowbird; Omar Chramosta
This past week Lars Pedersen and Ed Shadle gave a presentation to the 5th graders at Olympic Elementary School. As expected, lots of great questions! Ed and Lars autographed photos of the North American Eagle™ A fun time for our future leaders!

Fellow co-worker of Keith’s and long time friend of the project, Wayde Teeter stopped by. Wayde has been at many of the team’s test sessions dating back to 1998.
Today was like deja vu all over again. If it is there and heavy, it must need to be moved. Scanning the loads on our top storage shelves resulted in the decision to reorganize today. After some pre thinking about what should go where, Lars warmed up the fork lift and we went to work. Some heavy and little used items were moved down low and tucked away. Some back braces were added to the upper shelves and other items moved around for easier access.

Brandyn took a break from the UW campus and came in to set up the latest Lenovo W550 ThinkPad. With a unique touch screen, the computer will be used on board the vehicle to help gather data. Brandyn gave Ed a quick session on how it fits into our data system. Britney spent the day on her project of editing some of the web page information.
When Lars wasn’t busy running the fork lift, he had pencil to paper doing some calculations on weight distribution for the heavy steering box as it is being removed and reinserted into the fuselage steering compartment. Les was finishing up on the fabrication of a new panel; and he, Ed, and Keith did some work on the semi trailer’s systems.
