After the road trip to SEMA in Las Vegas and the delayed unload due to starter problems with the semi tractor, the Eagle was back in the hangar last week and ready for more attention. The rear running axle was swapped last week and today the rear fairings were reinstalled. Some new components were fabricated today to accommodate previous modifications and to get the fairings in test run condition. Further digital scanning by Capture 3D will be in the next couple of weeks. Don Mitchell came in to review previous scan models and take delivery of his new Lenovo ThinkStation.

Some general straightning and spiffing up of our new garage location was also underway today. After every road trip, it takes some effort to get equipment back in place and the work area cleaned up.

Our major to-do list is pretty well behind us but a number of tasks are still to be accomplished. Each weekend of work takes us further along the way to getting our big red jet car in tip top condition.

A new level of support from Lenovo is changing the landscape in our operations. In the very near future, the Landspeed.com website will be residing on servers on loan from Lenovo. A new ThinkServer will now be hosting all the content from the website, and provide storage for our engineering and intellectual property needs.

Lenovo is heavily embedded into our daily operations, with ThinkPads and ThinkStations providing support for website production, engineering consisting of mechanical and structural analysis and aerodynamic capabilities. Now we are pleased to announce the addition of new Lenovo ThinkServers to the North American Eagle™ team.
