Publication Post

TREFF

January 21, 2005

Ladies & Gentlemen:

The North American Eagle was featured last year in a German Magazine for Junior High School students,  TREFF Das sannende Schülermagazin "The Exciting Student magazine".  Faithful NAE™ fans will remember that the North American Eagle was featured in a reader publication for older students a few years ago.

TREFF cover

(from cover above) Neues Raketenauto,  Mit Tempo 1300 km/h Durch Die Wüste, which roughly translates to Way Cool Rocketship, shaped like frankfurter goes 800 miles per hour.  Well, that's my translation, according to babelfish it really says " New Rocket Car with speed of 800mph in the desert."

TREFF pgae 1

From the text:

An enormous dust cloud sweeps the outlines of the racing vehicle over the rock-hard soil. Then suddenly: A loud bang - the sound barrier broke through! For fractions of one second it can even be seen!

If you prefer German:

Eine gewaltige Staubwolke fegt über den brettharten Boden, verhüllt fast die umrisse des rasenden gefährts. Dan plötzlich: Ein lauter Knall – die schallmauer ist durchbrochen! Für Bruchteile einer sekunde ist es sogar zu sehen: Die Luft schlägt förmlich Wellen!

TREFF page 2

If you'd like to read the text in German, go to the archive page of TREFF Magazine and click on the magazine cover for 03/04.

irmhild trepteSpecial Thanks to TREFF Magazine for featuring the North American Eagle™ and to Irmhild Trepte at TREFF for sending the North American Eagle™ team several copies of the issue.
