Ladies and Gentlemen:

Eleven members of TeamNAE™ spent last weekend at the Redding Air Show displaying the project's car and educating the crowds about it. The show was well organized and the Blue Angels demonstration team was the final event of both days. The accommodations provided for the team were "top drawer".

Attending were Ed Shadle, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Steve Wallace, John Drury, Von Armstrong, Sean Rondestvedt, Tom & Rich Pengelley, Shauna Hannum, Rob Martinson, and Eagle's Lair member Eric Whittler who came from Nevada to spend the weekend and assist the team with loading at the end of the show.

The team left Spanaway early Thursday morning to travel south, arriving late the same night in Redding after three situations which presented challenges to be tackled as they cropped up. Friday the team unloaded the car and configured it for record runs so the crowds could view the aluminum alloy wheels we will use to attempt the record on.

Friday evening the team attended the Mixer Party held in one of the hangars on the flight line of the airport. Over the course of Saturday & Sunday's show, many new contacts were made and some old contacts were revisited as thousands of people browsed hundreds of displays on the tarmac.

Once the show ended Sunday afternoon the team loaded the car and start cart in preparation for travel home. A decision was made to rest up first by staying in Redding over night and leaving early the following morning. The team traveled north all day on Monday and arrived back in Spanaway by early evening.
