NAE™ Project: Update September 18, 2008 Ladies & Gentlemen, Co-owners Keith Zanghi and Ed Shadle can now claim they have something else in common besides the NAE™; appendicitis. Last month, when Ed and Keith went to Speed Week at Bonneville, Keith came down with appendicitis. After "toughing it" out through his time down there, Keith had to spend time in the hospital upon his return home to have it operated on. Now, just this week, Ed Shadle had to go into the hospital in order to have an appendectomy performed after his appendix flared up. He returned home today, but is under doctor's orders to not do any heavy work until enough time has passed for healing to take place. So, he'll have to sit out future work parties for a few weeks and direct the rest of us. "I hope this doesn't scare the rest of the team away for work parties," Ed said in a phone interview. "I don't think it's contageous, but I'm beginning to wonder." he said. "Besides, we've got lots of work to get done before our appearance at the Tacoma Dome in November." We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
