November 14, 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Since day one the North American Eagle™ has been a rolling test bed for R & D departments from some of the largest companies in the world. The combination of high speeds, high vibration, elevated temperatures and harsh environments in a controlled test environment makes the ideal laboratory for testing company products.

Sensor Systems

This latest test session debutted three new companies who joined the The Eagle Team to perform functional tests.  The Eagle is now testing  Sensor Systems, Inc VHF antennas.  Mounted on the back of the car just ahead of the air inlets the Sensor Systems Antenna looks great and functions flawlessly providing Ed with an excellent communication link to our eyes in the sky.

Optima Batteries

Optima Batteries is now using the Eagle as a rolling laboratory to test their OPTIMA® BlueTop® high-performance AGM battery.  Just like the same batteries used in your RV or boat, it  means more running time and up to 3 times more recharges than what you’d get out of a traditional battery.  The Eagle uses Optima Batteries exclusively to provide onboard DC power.  We also use them in the American Valley Aviation M32-60B start cart.  Optima Batteries are the most rugged and reliable source of DC power on the market today. In addition to providing weight savings and outstanding vibration resistance, the BlueTop’s efficient power delivery and faster recharge time mean the Eagle Team spend less time worrying about batteries.  You can depend on OPTIMA BlueTop to provide sure-starting, strong cranking, maintenance-free power source.

TriMax

Also making debut for the first time was our AFFF fire extinguisher system from TRI-MAX.  This fire fighting system is highly efficient and provides optimum fire fighting capabilities.  The patented "state-of-the-art" TRI-MAX Cold CAFS Technology provides a finished foam expansion ratio of 20:1 and a small durable foam bubble that lasts longer to seal flammable vapors and solution spills.  All of the TRI-MAX CAFS Systems are portable, easy to service and maintain, and include an extensive operations, training and maintenance manual.  In addition, TRI-MAX will be providing onsite fire suppression support.

Look for individual announcements on the above sponsors in the next few days.
