NAE™ Project: Update November 25, 2006 Ladies & Gentlemen: Today, even with the NAE™ sitting in its trailer in southern California, the team gathered at the hangar to go over the results of our appearance last week in Anaheim and the test session conducted the weekend following. Present were Ed Shadle, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Russell Garlow, Bill Eckberg, Steve & Libby Wallace, Von Armstrong, Rob Martinson, John Zambrano, Dave Selby, Tim Finley, and Meeko, John Drury, as well as Rich & Tom Pengelley. A recounting of the events which transpired during the expo, and a sharing by Ed, Keith, and Steve of those companies who expressed interest in supporting the project to help bring it closer to its ultimate goal, were shared. Some very promising possibilities loom on the horizon which will further accelerate the project's momentum toward going for the record. In case you haven't noticed it, there is a page dedicated to the answer of the question for when this will occur. More will follow as the team receives confirmation on the multiple offers extended to us. After standing around and getting plenty cold in the hangar, the team then moved over to the Spanaway Golf Course restaurant, where plans were discussed about our appearance at next weekend's John Force Holiday Auto Show in Yorba Linda, CA, and what needs to be done to the car over the winter months to come. The next update will not be posted until the middle of the following week after our return from southern California - or about Dec. 5th. So, be sure to visit us then for our next bit of news on that event, as well as further information about new sponsors joining the NAE™ team. We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site. Interested in helping us make history and bring the record back to North America? Here's how!
