NAE™ Project: Update Archives
January 17, 2006
Ladies & Gentlemen:
On the evening of January 17, 2005, team member Russell Garlow presented the North American Eagle™ project at the annual "Einstein Day" event at Fairwood Elementary School in Renton, WA. Einstein Day is a gathering of local science, engineering, and other groups, who showcase their programs for the kids. The goal is to stimulate their interest in science and engineering.
Posters of the project were shown in the classroom, and a segment of our March 2005 test runs was played to show the kids the power of the NAE™. There were ten groups of ten children each, who rotated among the venues with 15-minute presentations at each stop.
“It was rapid-fire, but I think the children really enjoyed seeing the beast in action. They asked good questions, and wanted to know the web site address so they could follow our progress.”
We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
