TeamNAE™: Meet Team Member...
Ladies & Gentlemen:
Rex and his team of aerodynamicist have the task of stabilizing the North American Eagle™ at speed. Transonic shock waves begin developing around the Eagle at speeds starting at mach 0.7 Rex's job is to design aerodynamic features into the Eagle so it will remain stable and safe up to 800 mph. Some of the work involves CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). You can see screen shots of his work above.
Using programs like Dassault Systèmes CATIA design software on our Lenovo ThinkStations and W700 ThinkPad Rex can design structures then exported to other CFD software and analyzed on supercomputers to see how they react. It is a complex process and Rex and his team are some of the foremost designers on the planet at doing the work.
We know a lot of our fans are on facebook. Now the North American Eagle™ is on facebook as well! In fact many of our team members are also! Tell your friends! It's fun!
We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
