TeamNAE™: Meet Team Member...
Steve Wallace
Data Acquisition Scientist
This NAE™ team may have collective centuries of engineering cleverness and some wisdom, and at least one of us has “nerves of steel”, but we don’t pretend to be so powerful as to concoct the future! This project is steered by faith in the provision of many small discoveries, in acceptance of new and old friends, of finding treasure in junkyards and treasure in the hearts of people.
THAT is the NAE™ force we each are learning to treasure.
…I think it’s called “God Speed”.
In 1977 Steve began working at NASA/Ames Research center, attended De Anza College and San Jose State University, Joined Varian Associates, in Palo Alto, CA, in 1980 where he designed equipment for RADAR testing and
Traveling Wave Tube manufacturing.
Currently employed at Boeing, Steve's projects include machining technology development, sensors, and data acquisition. He serves on two ASME Machine Tool Standards committees.
Steve is a Sound Engineer at Praise Covenant Church in Tacoma, where Libby also participates vocally in worship teams.
