Team NAE™:
Meet
Patrick Smith - Medical Specialist

patrick smithPatrick can remember the days of his childhood growing up in Ely, Nevada watching the contrails above being made from the experimental and test aircraft flying into Edwards Air Force Base. His passion for aviation and aerospace led him towards earning a degree in Aviation Science from Westminster College of Salt Lake City in 1987 and a commission in the United States Air Force. "It is very exciting to be working on a piece of aviation history and making the goal of breaking the world landspeed record a reality," says Patrick. His contribution will be valuable in reaching that historic milestone.

Serving as the team's medical support, he brings almost 7 years of experience in the health care field along with a degree in Health Science from the University of Utah. Patrick is a certified anesthesia technician and qualified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
