Dave Selby
Jet Engine Mechanic

Dave Selby is a retired TSgt. (Technical Sergeant) with 10 years active US Air Force service. He has another 10 years Air Reserve. He is currently a civilian DOD employee working at McChord AF Base. He has extensive experience with tear down and build up of J-85 and J-79 turbojets. In addition he has worked in engine test cells on J-79, J-85 and TF-53s. He has worked on a lot of aircraft including C141, C5, C130, C17, F16 and F4s. He is an engine mishap investigator. During the day he works on the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III. Team North American Eagle™ is proud to have Dave working on the project to bring the world land speed record back to North America.

Along with Bill Eckberg, Sean Rondestvedt, John Zambrono, and Robin Sipe, with Team S&S Turbine Services in Fort St. John, BC, the North American Eagle™ has more engine knowledge than any previous group to ever challenge the world landspeed record for automobiles in the unlimited class.
