TeamNAE™: Meet Team Member...
Sean Rondestvedt
Jet Engine Mechanic,
Fire Supression Specialist
Sean graduated from Kentwood High School in Kent, WA in 1994. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from Sept. of 1994 to August of 1998 as a jet engine mechanic on Pratt and Whitney F100-200, 220, 229 (F16 and F15), and General Electric F101 (B1B) with experience in tear down and rebuild, testing and module work.
Currently, Sean is a member of the Seattle Fire Department, and stepped forward while the NAE™ was on display at the fair to offer his expertise to the team's effort to bring the land speed record back to America. His expertise on fire safety and extinguishing will be invaluable to the team, but we hope it never has to be put into use.
The team enjoys having him volunteer on the team and looks forward to his contribution as an engine mechanic when we begin test runs next year.
