Cameron Shadle - Team Mechanic
Cameron, Ed Shadle’s son, has been working at Boeing in Everett, WA as a mechanic since 1988. When the 777 line started Cameron transferred to that team. So he has worked on every 777 plane flying today. Cameron has been a Lead on the 777 line since 1996 and as of 2004 he has become the Team Leader. Next step is management in Boeing, which he is working on now. Cameron helps out with the NAE project as a Fuselage Structures expert and anything else he is needed for. Ed & Cameron have been traveling to the Bonneville Salt Flats for land speed week since 1989. Cameron is the mechanic for the Lakester and also started driving in 2003. He has also built a few fast engines for his own cars over the years. Along with being a fast car junky, Cameron is also an accomplished drummer and plays gigs every so often. He is also a certified scuba diver and likes to fish and plays darts. With family, work, the NAE, and all his hobbies, there is not much time left for anything else.
