NAE™ Project: Publication Post - Playboy of Germany

The North American Eagle™ has now gone international with an article published in the April edition of Playboy of Germany. Last year freelance journalist Jürgen König flew half way around the world to gather information and photos of the NAE™ project, for inclusions in his feature article about civilian F-104 Starfighters. Jürgen travels the world writing about people, and we're glad he has now included us in his files. It was a great day, as the NAE™ got to meet an extraordinary person and have a little fun in the process. It was a busy, as two photographers shot over a hundred rolls of 35 mm film. It was a fun day for the team. Meeting new people has always been the very best part of this project. So for our new friends in Germany, we hope you will come back and visit us often. We are working on a English translation of the article and will include it in a future edition.
This weekend the North American Eagle™ Team will be traveling to Wenatchee, WA. There, we will be showing our one hour presentation "Challenging the World Land Speed Record" to members of the Civil Air Patrol.
Work continues on the NAE™. Ed Shadle, Jon Higley and Russell Garlow have been busy with the never ending job of replacing damaged panels. Additional work has been completed on the vertical stabilizer and fitting the cockpit canopy.
We know a lot of our fans are on facebook. Now the North American Eagle™ is on facebook as well! In fact many of our team members are also! Click on the Facebook icon above to go there and tell your friends to visit us there! It's fun!
