NAE™ Project: Update
May 7, 2005
Ladies & Gentlemen:
Team North American Eagle™ would like to thank all our sponsors for their continuing support, without which this project would not exist. In addition, we would especially like to thank the following companies that put additional resources into the project for this weekend's test runs:
S&S Turbine Services - Fort St. John, BC
Eagle Machine, Inc. - Abbottsford, BC
Lev-X, A Magna-Force Company - Port Angeles, WA
McVay’s Mobile Welding – Brier, WA
Small & Sons Petroleum - Auburn, WA
Today was the second test run for the NAE™ at our test facility in Western Washington state. On hand were Ed Shadle, Keith Zanghi, Jon Higley, Russell Garlow, Didi Boyington, Cameron Shadle, Bill Eckberg, Sean Rondestvedt, John Drury, Steve & Libby Wallace, Ed & Barbara Drumheller, Bernard, Bill, Dennis, and Aaron McVay, Glenn & Lynn Amy, John Zambrano, Dave Selby, Harry Veldman, Tim Finley and Meeko, Mark Seguin, Omar Charamosta, Von Armstrong, and Paul Lathum.
The car took two runs down the airstrip at approximately 220 - 260 MPH for the purpose of shooting video footage for various purposes. A crew of camera operators were on site from Bates Technical College's Comm. Tech. program to shoot the footage during both runs.
For a full page of photos of the day's event, visit the photo gallery.
After the second run, the team gathered at the end of the airstrip for a photo session with Cornelius Braun for Maxim Magazine of Germany. They will be doing an article on the NAE™ project for their readership.
We know a lot of our fans are on facebook. Now the North American Eagle™ is on facebook as well! In fact many of our team members are also! Tell your friends! It's fun!
